Could I eat a live hornet?

There is a hornets nest in my wall they fly in and out of my room through this tiny crack in a skylight. and they have been leaving me alone, but recently they have been gitten bold. the only explanation is I have gone down in social status among their blood sport fueled society. I must catch one and eat it alive as a grusome spectacle of pain and blood to strike fear into its loser hornet buddies. Im scared that their fattening some how and packed with carbs. also I am allergic to gluten and maybe they eat bread or something.
