The paranormal phenomena as telepathy and clairvoyance is a exclusivity of religions?

If I go to a church and someone tells me something that only the person with psychic powers might know, this means that God said this or that simply means the person has that power and used it in a religious context, with religious terms and jargon? It would be a sin to believe that simply was not God but the personal power that person? It would be easier if we could scientifically explain these phenomenas but do not know if science has advanced to this point.
