Allergy To Cigarette Smoking Does Not Exist?

It seems to me that cigarette smoke allergy claims are all based on association of smoking with negative health effects. Thirty years ago one did not hear people complaining about being allergic to smoking. How can you scientifically prove me that some people can be allergic to smoking? What is your scientific evidence?
