Does listening to Mozart or any music of thet sort really help babies get smarter?

Had an argument with my wife today about this issue. She says if she makes the baby listen to classical music will help increase his IQ (this is when she is pregnant before the baby is delivered) how is that remotely possible and how in the hell you can scientifically prove such a thing.
