How long would it hurt to die from jumping off of a building?

Obviously no one really knows the answer to this, but scientifically there is a way to find out by knowing how the impact would affect someone and how long it would take for their heart to stop beating...so would you immediately die from the impact of jumping off of a really tall building and not feel anything, or would it take a few seconds to die and feel immense pain everywhere?
