Isnt the argument "time didnt exist before the big bang, therefore there was no cause" just a ridiculous...?

time is a human construct anyway. one day some human started counting and that eventually became time. it is somewhat arbitrary when you think about it. space is not linear, the earth doesn't spin 365 days around the sun nor is a day exactly 24 hours but wobbles just a tad off. the moon sometimes rises twice in a month, and all that we try to use to tell time change as they wish. people existed quiet well before clocks and calenders.
