It's kind of like how every argument against gay marriage has been argued down, yet it's still illegal. It's mostly people who live by ideology and wish to keep it illegal, for moral or other reasons. I say legalize it...smaller government, more freedom, more sales tax for the state, and less money spent into pursuing non-violent pot smokers and afterwards locking them up with violent criminals. Save room for the violent criminals in prison, leave harmless pot smokers alone. I am for illegalizing driving under the influence of marijuana (obviously) and incriminating people who do so, but that's for endangering others, not for the pot smoking itself.

So basically yesterday the b! tch that cut my hair made it way too short and I hate it. I want it about 2 inches longer. It looks so bad an ugly because I used to have super long hair. But the last time I got it highlighted I noticed almost 2 inches of regrowth about 4-6 weeks after, so I guess my hair grows super fast. I just want it a couple inches longer. I take one multivitamin, 2 hair, skin, and nails vitamins a day (double dose), I don't wash it too often (every other day), cut down on the flat iron, massage scalp, and I smoke weed (it's scientifically proven that it speeds up hair growth b/c it increases blood flow to scalp), but I smoked weed before that it's not why I'm doing it, don't tell me not to b/c it's my choice, anything else that can speed it up? About how long will it take to grow it 1/2 in- 2 inches? considering my hair grows pretty fast and I started taking vitamins for hair growth

Okay, I didn't really break my glasses, but my dad got those for me and the frames are really awkward looking. Like, many of my friends already commented on it saying that I get contacts. A few days back i had the GUTS to ask a girl out.... but as expected she rejected me.... she was my good friend, i didn't expect rejection from her....that literally broke me apart.... We have several places in our basement that continue to have more and more of this tiny black stuff. I thought maybe it was ants but do they die that quick or is this mouse droppings? The very tiny spectacles are solid black. I found some clinging to the insulation in the basement as well. I do know we have ants outside the basement door but most of it looks dead. Once I was staying in room with my friends. It was about night and I went to bed. As I was wearing spectacles, I wanted to remove it and keep it on the table near by. Then about six months later I played shuttle badminton for long time but had no effect on my injury. A 3 more months later I came to Saudi Arabia where the season was winter. I played badminton again, while making a serve my hand slipped out again and went back to its positin. It was so painful and i became disappointed and it happened again after 1 year while tryng to play the game again. When i came back to India I tried to play cricket. while throwing the ball in fast mode as all cricketers do, i was having no problem. but while throwing the ball as a fielder, I again felt my arm dislocating..then i feared to play. whats my problem here and how can i get it cured? pls someone help me....

If time is real how did it come about?

First of all i'd like to say that i just hate myself for being so unlucky in life....... My age is 21 years... Lets start with the eyes, i wear spectacles and i've got 3.5 power in both my eyes...then my ears, i' ve got tinnitus ( it's a medical condition in which a person hears constant ringing noises in his ears, these noises just don't go away... and they'll probably remain there for the rest of my life :(..... ) I've got a height of 5 '10 and i just weigh about a 105 pounds .... My hair is thinning very much :( I don't have strong teeth...my nose has a sort of a bump but that's alright.... A few days back i had the GUTS to ask a girl out.... but as expected she rejected me.... she was my good friend, i didn't expect rejection from her....that literally broke me apart.... I don't achieve the things i want in life....i'm always unlucky.... Why did God create me like this.... I'm fed up of this life... I absolutely have nothing going for me in my life... My husband and I separated and he's paying me monthly for the support of our children. Because I still need government assistance, the state wants me to file with the DA against my ex. If the new set of glasses don't work for you then you need to go back to the optician who perscribed them and complain. It is up to the optician to fix the issue. Prism's shouldn't hurt - I have them in my glasses. I don't know what the persription should look like, but if you've given the new perscription 48 hours and it doesnt' work for you you need to take teh glasses back.

I am having a shoulder dislocation often. How to cure it and what kind of treatments are available for that?

Once I was staying in room with my friends. It was about night and I went to bed. As I was wearing spectacles, I wanted to remove it and keep it on the table near by. I was already on bed and hesitating to step on floor I turned to put my spects to the table from my bed itself. Unfortunately my legs slipped and I fell down in such a position where my right arm on the table and legs on the bed with my middle body went down between the table and bed. I felt my shoulder twisted hardly. When I got up i was unable to move my arm and was having a pain. I went to bed within few seconds i became unconcious of severe pain. My friend showered water on my face which turned me on. The whole night I was unable to move my arm. Next day I wen to the doctor who prescribed an X ray. After checking it he told there is a swelling on the shoulder which shoul be kept in slings for 3 weeks. I did so within 2-3 days my pain disappeared. Then about six months later I played shuttle badminton for long time but had no effect on my injury. A 3 more months later I came to Saudi Arabia where the season was winter. I played badminton again, while making a serve my hand slipped out again and went back to its positin. It was so painful and i became disappointed and it happened again after 1 year while tryng to play the game again. When i came back to India I tried to play cricket. while throwing the ball in fast mode as all cricketers do, i was having no problem. but while throwing the ball as a fielder, I again felt my arm dislocating..then i feared to play. whats my problem here and how can i get it cured? pls someone help me....

I feel that Haystacks doesnt get his fair due as an trailblazer to the farmboy hillbilly gimmicks like Hillybilly Jim had with his family and also as the first well known superheavyweight being an inspiration to King Kong Bungy, Andre the Giant, Big Show, etc, not to mention the highly successful British parody Giant Haystacks. Calhoun was also a tremendous draw as an 600 pound farmboy spectacle, and Sammartino slamming Haystacks is an iconic moment in wrestling history long before Hogan slammed Andre. ( though Brunno botched the bodyslam, lifting a man of Haystacks' size is a gargantuan feat!) I never hear Haystacks in the greatest Bigman conversation, and while the man didnt have the versatile moveset or workrate of an Undertaker or was THE top guy like Jumbo, Vader, or have the booking of a Giant Baba, Haystacks paved the way for future bigmen and similar gimmicks and was a true spectacle and underrated giant in this sport. I think SoccerRef is a very smart man. It's about time Americans lived in the real world. The USL joining the MLS, having a first division and second division with promotion and relegation is a great idea. You play in the top league by merit, not by just buying a stupid franchise.

Is my life WORTH LIVING.........?

First of all i'd like to say that i just hate myself for being so unlucky in life....... My age is 21 years... Lets start with the eyes, i wear spectacles and i've got 3.5 power in both my eyes...then my ears, i' ve got tinnitus ( it's a medical condition in which a person hears constant ringing noises in his ears, these noises just don't go away... and they'll probably remain there for the rest of my life :(..... ) I've got a height of 5 '10 and i just weigh about a 105 pounds .... My hair is thinning very much :( I don't have strong teeth...my nose has a sort of a bump but that's alright.... A few days back i had the GUTS to ask a girl out.... but as expected she rejected me.... she was my good friend, i didn't expect rejection from her....that literally broke me apart.... I don't achieve the things i want in life....i'm always unlucky.... Why did God create me like this.... I'm fed up of this life... I absolutely have nothing going for me in my life... My self confidence is ZERO.... Is my life worth LIVING...what should i do guys.... I'm fed up of my life...PLEASE HELP ME OUT... :(

Are invocations in school events legal?

A month or so ago, I had an SGA conference in Austin, TX. It was a pretty big conference with people from all sorts of nationalities, races, and religions. My question is that before they started each general meeting, they had a person come up and do an invocation, is that legal?. I have never been quite religious and I did not bow my head, and they were praying because the guy who did it said "In your name we pray." It kinda bothered me and a few others through out the week long conference, though we didn't complain.

I would really like to run away from home but i don't know where to go ?

I live in Dallas, tx and i'm going to run away soon so don't try to stop me. I have about 100 dollars and i have enough clothes and things to last for a while. I don't know where to go and what to do though. My parents are making me go to this horrible school where i am bullied and it is horrible. I can't take one more day of it so I am leaving. Please help. I need a safe place to go and something to do until my parents finally figure out that i can't deal with that horrible school anymore.
